Relief Request Coordinator
Are you proactive and enjoy working in a fast paced fun environment?
Interpreting New Zealand is a not-for-profit agency established in 1993 to meet the communication needs of non-English speakers, principally from refugee and migrant communities. It trains and develops professional interpreters and provides their services onsite or by telephone to many government and community agencies.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, people orientated individual to join our team of Request Coordinators.
If you have a strong demonstrable customer focus, telephone and computer skills and would enjoy a challenging and at times high pressure role within a friendly and very competent team, we would love to hear from you.
You will need to have a very good level of English. Some knowledge of interpreting and the importance of using trained interpreters would be beneficial but not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful applicant.
We envisage that this will initially be a relieving role with a view to growing it to a permanent part-time position.
To apply, please send an email and/or a letter of application, as well as an up to date CV. A job description is attached. If you have questions, please get in touch with Jennifer (email firstname.lastname@example.org, phone 04 916 2464).
Applications close on 06 November 2020.
